Upon Julia's Clothes -- Herrick

Whenas in silks my Julia goes,
Then, then, methinks, how sweetly flows
The liquefaction of her clothes!
Next, when I cast mine eyes and see
That brave vibration each way free,
—O how that glittering taketh me!

Herrick is best known for 'To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time,' a poem telling unwed girls to 'gather ye rosebuds, while ye may.' I'm not sure how you are supposed to interpret that, but in any case, both this and that poem are very pretty, albeit provocative of a stifled snicker.
